I love these. I am a kiteboarder, and always wear sunglasses while riding. I need to be able to see the rigging while on the water and on the beach, and the stick-ons work great. In addition, I have never had a pair fall off, despite regularly getting dunked into the ocean with a fair amount of force. I wear them while driving so I can see the speedometer, GPS and all the gauges in the car.

I love these things. I have a number of sunglasses and I use them in all of them. I also keep a stock of the these just in case I need them or buy another pair of sunglasses. I use a lower power for the glasses I use for driving which helps me see the dashboard clearer.

Such a simple solution to a common problem. I needed bifocals in my sunglasses. Bam! Done. I even made a quick video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It2FJeS3JVU

I always use these because I only have a few w/them already infused. I need to buy more pairs since, even though it's very convenient to insert them from one pair to another, I like them already inserted. Would like to see them in my local drugstores, so I can just take them home w/me. Please let me know if and/or when they'll be available. Thank you in advance. I wear sunglasses practically everyday (but not when dark or stormy). Thanks for a great, useful product. Bought my first pair more than 10+ years ago.

I have used this product for several years but needed to increase the power to 3.00. So I bought a new pair this weekend, unfortunately only one of the pair is adhering to my glasses and short of gluing the other one on it won't stick. Any suggestions on where I can return these and get another pair? This was the last one at this store and they won't be carrying them any longer. So this was a total waste of a purchase. I don't want my money back I want a good new pair.

I LOVE this product!!! I have been using these stick-on readers for, I believe, at least 10 years. I tried to find my old receipt to verify that, but had no luck. The point is, they have lasted FOREVER, and work GREAT! I can not live without them. I wear expensive sunglasses, but can not see anything close. I desperately need readers. While driving, they are a necessity. I can't clearly see my speedometer without them and it's impossible to read directions without them. On the beach, I can spot shells, but when I pick them up I need readers to see what I've got. These stick on lenses have changed my life for the better. Sure, I can have sunglasses made with a reader, but HELLO, that'll cost hundreds of dollars and I like multiple pairs. These are so convenient, so inexpensive, and so easy to trim and apply. I can turn any pair of sunglasses into readers. Why am I buying more if they last forever and can easily be moved from one pair to another? Well, I had 2 pairs. One I gave to my mother-in-law because she loved them so much, the other, I just lost. They did not fall out, it was my error. This morning I went to play tennis. I had forgotten my tennis sunglasses - a pair I keep without readers specifically for tennis. No problem! I simply removed the stick-ons from my everyday sunglasses and dropped them into my glass case. After the game, I walked to my car. I reached into the glass case to retrieve the readers to reapply and discovered I had forgotten to zip the case shut. One of them had fallen out somewhere on the long walk to my car. Thank goodness Optx 2020 is still here. I'm ordering 2 right now. Maybe I'll get more for XMas. These would be a great stocking stuffer :-)

Not easy to cut to shape, maybe suggest a way to mark and cut as it becomes choppy even with a sharp scissors. Does not seem like same strength throughout piece, best in center but this gets affected by cutting. Because of thickness viewing is somewhat distorted like looking through plastic or smudged glass. Sticks to surface but does not stick evenly so that might contribute to distortion as well.

I have been using these on my sunglasses for playing golf for several months now. I had to cut them down so that they didn't interfere with my field of view, but that wasn't a problem. They stick as advertised, just follow the instructions. A cheap option for getting corrective sunglasses.

These things have been a lifesaver. I have several sets but you're asking a bit much on the $$ side. I got my first bunch at WallyWorld and Walgreen's years ago then they disappeared from the shelves to only return lately. I had issues getting them to stick at first but once I figured out to put the concave surfaces together they've stuck just like suction cups. The fella that calls you thieves just hasn't figured that out yet but I understand his disappointment if he forked over the $20.

I have been using them on my snowmobile helmet for 2 years so I can read the trail maps. Speeds up to 80 MPH and have not fallen off yet. Just bought a new helmet and removed them from the old and out them on the new. These really help for me. I recommend them highly.

Great product. I still have the same pair of stick-on lenses I put on my sunglasses over 7 years ago. This is after many repeated cleanings, since I use the glasses for saltwater fly fishing and salt spray gets on the sunglasses.I am quite excited the lenses are back in production. I never have had them come off for over 7 years of wear.

The pair I purchased years ago are still working great. I'm a commercial airline pilot and have received numerous complements and "where did you get those" queries about these readers. Very glad to see them back in production. As for the comment above about them not working as advertised, that person obviously can't read and follow simple directions.

I bought a pair of these several years ago while on vacation and stuck them on my favorite pair of sunglasses. They lasted through motorcycling, swimming, snowmachining until I lost my sunglasses. I was heartbroken to find that these were off the market. They're back!!! Yay!! As for the comment on the Amazon purchase, not the same quality. Stick with the real ones. Love them!

I have used these for years and missed them when they went off market for a while. I turned two high end but non prescription flying glasses into my favorite sunglasses which also now allow me to read the instruments as well.

I make glass beads, and use special lenses to protect my eyes from the glare in the torch flame. Over the years, it got harder to see the tiny details that I'm known for. I didn't want to replace my expensive glasses, and this was the best solution. It is wonderful to be able to see tiny things again! I didn't have trouble cutting them with scissors. It seems like they could be just a little more clear, though.

I've been using HydroTac stick-ons for over 7 years now on sunglasses for cycling. While they are less than optical quality, they are far cheaper than prescription sunglasses, way more than good enough for reading maps, menus, cycle computer/GPS and so on. They can be trimmed with sharp scissors to just the size/shape needed, and they do not wash off in the rain. ... digitalcyclist in Brockville, Canada

I made an inexpensive pair of glasses for use at my computer by taking an old pair of glasses and adding +1.5 stick-on lens's (upside down) just above the old bifocal areas. Don't throw away your old glasses, they can make a perfect set for working at the computer using the stick-on's

Bought these for my prescription motor cycle glasses so that I could read my GPS that I put on my tank. They would not stick. It does say that they are not for prescription glasses, why that would make a difference as far as sticking goes, I don't know. I thought that they would be self adheasive but they are not. The water thing didn't work. I had to put thin slices of double stick scotch tape along the bottom part to keep them in place. Other than that, they work fine.

Not quite true to strength. I bought 1.5 and it's really more like a 1.0; adhered better with hot water. Would have been nice to have directions to that effect on the container.
